Social THINKERS
for Preschool and Elementary Children

Communication and self regulation difficulties can impact children’s ability to engage in social interactions. Social Thinkers is run by a team of experienced therapists who will help children build a foundation of social skills through individualized support in a small group environment (max. 6 kids)

The following children would benefit:
• Language Delay or Disorder • Social Communication Delay or Disorder
• Autism Spectrum Disorder • Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

Skills we build and practice
• Introducing yourself to a friend and asking to play with a friend
• Increasing social flexibility to follow the plan of a peer or small group
• Sharing, cooperation and problem solving
• Recognizing and expressing feelings and thoughts of self and others
• Increasing pretend play skills
• Self regulation and organization of the body to interact with peers
Session for preschool children (ages 3-5)
July 4th to 8th 9:00am – 11:30am
OR 1:00pm – 3:30pm

Session for elementary children (ages 6-8)
July 11th to 15th 9:00am – 11:30am

Location: Advance OT Clinic located in Kids Moving Inc. (552 2nd Street SE)
