Pediatric speech-language services
Helping kids build the confidence to communicate every day — at home, at school, and in their community across Medicine Hat and surrounding areas.

Does your child struggle to communicate?
When children lag in speech and language development, everyday tasks become more difficult. Expressing emotions, asking questions, following directions or making new friends can feel overwhelming — and this can be frustrating for both kids and parents.
Communication challenges can affect behaviour, confidence and relationships. But with the right support, children can build the skills they need to connect, learn and participate in daily life.
When to check in
If you’re noticing ongoing frustration, difficulty being understood, or big changes in your child’s communication, it’s a good time to talk with a pediatric speech-language pathologist.

How we help
We begin with a screening to learn more about your child’s communication, play, learning and daily routines. Then our experienced pediatric speech-language pathologists complete a full assessment and design an individualized therapy plan.
With over 40+ years of combined experience in speech and language development, our team provides timely consultation, practical home strategies and therapy that fits into real family life.
Most importantly, we partner with you as the expert on your own child — building your confidence alongside theirs.
Step 1
Screening
A brief check to understand concerns and next steps.
Step 2
Assessment
Detailed evaluation of speech, language and communication.
Step 3
Therapy & support
Individualized goals, therapy sessions and home practice.

Pediatric speech-language services
Our pediatric speech-language pathologists provide assessment and therapy for infants and children with a variety of communication, social and feeding challenges in Medicine Hat and surrounding areas.
We work closely with families and medical teams to support safe, positive mealtimes and oral-motor development.
Many child speech-language pathology services are covered by private insurance plans. If you’re unsure whether your child’s needs fit any of these areas, you’re welcome to contact us for guidance.

Support you can trust
Children grow at their own pace. If you’re unsure whether your child’s speech and language skills are developing typically, we’ll help you understand what’s expected and when therapy may be beneficial — without pressure or worry.
