Learn to PLAY

Some children have difficulty regulating their body, engaging in their environment and interacting with others. Learn to Play offers multi-modal play experiences which allow children to build these skills. Learn to Play is run by a team of experienced therapists who will help children build a foundation of social skills through individualized support in a small group environment (max. 6-8 kids)

The following children would benefit:
• Language Delay or Disorder • Social Communication Delay or Disorder
• Autism Spectrum Disorder • Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

Skills we build and practice:
• Time and opportunity to create and be imaginative
• Observation and engagement of the senses of touch, sight and sound
• Full body movement and exploration
• Discussion of play experiences and opportunity to problem solve
• Opportunities to explore, cooperate and problem solve with peers in small and large group settings

Session: July 11th to 15th 1:00pm-3:30pm
Location: Advance OT Clinic located in Kids Moving Inc. (552 2nd Street SE)
Instructors: Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist

Starting Kindergarten is a new and exciting experience for kids. Give your children the opportunity to shine with our School-Ready Superstars program. We will build skills in printing and fine motor activities as well as phonological awareness skills such as rhyming, recognizing sounds in words and recognizing letters.
